The PPP leader went on to say that Bilawal called for Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan’s resignation as the National Action Plan was not being implemented properly.

“I am a democrat. I accepted the court’s verdict and went back to home. I have forget what happened to me. I didn’t want the confrontation of the state institutions,” Gillani further said.

“PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had prepared the constitution of Pakistan and I restored it,” he said.

He said that People’s Party always showed political maturity and did not become part of any political confrontation. He said that the party is only focusing on the country’s development, China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and strengthening the Parliament.
