He was addressing after meeting Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad during a visit to the city, where he said that peace in Karachi was correlated with peace in the country.
During the meeting, they discussed a range of issues including the law and order situation in the country, and reiterated their resolve to deal with an iron hand anyone who dared to attack the sanctity of the country.
Nisar said that peace in Karachi should be maintained at all costs, and those who disrupt the peace of the city should be dealt with strictly.
Governor Ebad said that protestors who had created chaos and anarchy, and were involved in ransacking and damage to property will be dealt with under the law.
He said that Rangers and other law-enforcement agencies were playing a pivotal role to maintain peace in the province and had given various sacrifices which cannot be underestimated.
