Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has said that investigation should be carried out on why IG Police said that former Punjab governor Salman Taseer’s son Shahbaz Taseer was recovered after an operation whereas the reality was completely opposite.
A special committee, headed by Special Secretary Interior, has been initiated and will present its report within two days.
On the other hand, sources have said that officials have decided to re-investigate as to what happened after Shahbaz Taseer was set free by the abductors.
