ISLAMABAD: The Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan while reacting to the statement of the former DG of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), has advised that former senior military officials should be careful while making any statements, keeping in view the current circumstances of the state – ARY News reports.
In his statement issued on Wednesday, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that those who remained a part of policy making in the past, should contrive and keep in view the confidentiality of the matters, for this is in the interest of the nation and the country.
He said that in this age of media, a minor fluctuation of tongue can lead to a worst situation.
Nisar further stated that revealing the decisions made by the former or the serving military leadership can for sure create difficulties, but no advancement towards any solution can develop from this.
Moreover, the Interior Minister also urged the media for not making a sensitive statement like this, part of its debate.
