The PML-N has also requested to field joint candidates for by-elections. To which, Bukhari said he would be candidate who had been runner-up in the constituency in general elections 2018 and for this purpose lists of candidates should be made at provincial level.

Bukhari said he would convey the PML-N supreme leader’s message to his party leadership and would respond after consultation about fielding of joint candidates.

The sources said that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif will on Monday arrive in Islamabad and in few days he would hold meetings with the PPP high-ups.
