The cricketer shared that they had learnt to imitate the signature of Mohammad Nawaz and used it to pay the hotel bill of around one lac, during their 15-day stay at a Karachi hotel.

“We used to get the food in our room and would sign the bill in Nawaz’s name and would

mention his room number. This way, the total bill on his account piled up to almost a lac, and even Nawaz was shocked to see the amount due on his name,” Shah quipped, adding that the idea was proposed by Iftikhar, and he only did the fake signature.

Moreover, Shah also spoke about his T20I debut against arch-rivals India, which he said would have been memorable, had he gotten the wicket of star player Virat Kohli, after pinning KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav.

Naseem Shah shares heartbreak story

“I bowled one in-swinger to Virat Kohli, then an outswinger, and the outside edge was dropped [by Fakhar Zaman]. If that catch would have taken, my debut would have been so memorable,” he told the host.
