Nadra report reveals over 0.11m fake votes in Asif’s constituency

According to Nadra report at least 0.170m votes were examined in NA-110, the constituency of Khawaja Asif. Computerized National Identity Card Numbers (CNICs) of 0.116 votes turned out to be fake and several ballots even did not carry thumb impressions.

The defence minister had won general elections of 2013 from constituency of NA-110 in Sialkot with 92, 848 votes.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) contender against Khawaja Asif in the general elections, Usman Dar had challenged the result of the election alleging rigging in the poll.

Sialkot’s NA-110 was one of the four constituencies on which PTI had sought an audit and re-election through election petitions. The other constituencies were Lahore’s NA-125 and NA-122 and NA-154 in Lodhran.
