Gabol took on Twitter to comment on the order by election tribunal which rocked the country’s political scene on Monday and remarked that the decision has given an edge to PTI and the Judicial Commission too probe rigging may announce its verdict in favour of PTI.
An election tribunal on Monday ordered re-election on Lahore’s NA-125 constituency, a seat previously secured by Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in the May 2013 general elections.
PTI candidate Hamid Khan had challenged his victory by claiming that the election had been rigged.
In the May 11 2013 election count, Saad Rafique had bagged 123,416 votes beating PTI’s Hamid Khan who secured 84,495 thousand votes.

It must be mentioned that Gabol, who was elected on NA-246 constituency on Karachi on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) ticket resigned from his seat after developing differences with the party.
He later claimed that he got a huge tally of votes in May 2013 general elections through rigging and he himself witnessed the act in one of the polling stations of the constituency.
