Musharraf says will soon come to Pakistan, unite ‘good’ politicians

SUKKUR: Former Army chief and President All Pakistan Muslim League Pervez Musharraf on Sunday said he would soon come back to Pakistan and organize his party to make it the third biggest power in the country by bringing together politicians of good reputation, ARY News reported.

“I am not at rest in Dubai. I will soon come to my homeland,” he said instructing his party workers to speed efforts to make APML live. He was talking through telephone to a workers’ convention held in Sukkur.

Sources said Musharraf is politically active in Dubai along getting medical treatment.

Musharraf said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) had been divided into two factions in Karachi.

He also condemned the recent suicide blast at Lal  Shehbaz Qalandar’s shrine in Sehwan and said those attacking shrines had no religion. Terrorists are enemies of Pakistan, he said.

The former president blamed Indian spy agency RAW for wave of current terrorism in Pakistan.

“Enemies should be dealt with iron hand. India is involved in recent wave of terrorism in Pakistan,” he said.

Earlier, Pervez Musharraf on February 06 held meetings with senior politicians in Dubai to deliberate on creating pressure on the incumbent government over Panama Leaks issue by uniting the opposition parties.
