According to details, a death row convict Manzoor was executed in Vehari District Jail on Saturday morning.
Manzoor was convicted of killing a police officer during a robbery attempt in Sahiwal back in 2001.
Pakistan ended a seven year old moratorium on death penalty after December 16 attack on Army Public School in Peshawar killing 149 people, mostly children.
The moratorium, in force since 2008, was initially lifted only in terrorism cases.
But the government extended the order in March, directing provincial governments to proceed with hangings for all death row prisoners who have exhausted their appeals and clemency petitions.
