The MQM chief had to appear before police today pertaining to the investigations of a money laundering case involving him and five others.
The metropolitan police however informed his lawyers that the MQM supremo and other five people are no longer required to appear in the case due to insufficient evidences against them.
Police said the investigations will continue.
Sources told that to again arrest any of the suspects police have to present fresh evidences.
MQM convener Nadeem Nusrat says that there is no case registered against the party chief in London and that the evidences against him are insufficient.
He added that the MQM supremo will soon be handed his passport.
