Mobile internet blocked as local leader threatens to disrupt Ind-SA match

The match is scheduled to begin at 1.30pm (PST).

The Rajkot administration has blocked mobile internet services in the district after Patel threatened to disrupt the cricket match between India and South Africa, to be played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association stadium.

Patel had threatened to block the cricketers from reaching the stadium if details of ticket sales were not made public.

He alleged that the Saurashtra Cricket Association had sold tickets to Bharatiya Janata Party workers, who would then protest during the match and later blame the Patidars for it.
