According to police, nine labourers were abducted on Saturday night by unidentified armed militants from a poultry farm near Lung Lohar area.
Bodies of eight of them have been found today, while the remaining one is recovered in injured condition, they said.
Injured labourer who is identified as Azhar Hussain told ARY News that he and his other companions belonged to Muzaffarabad and Dera Ismail Khan.
“We are flood victims and had arrived in Sakran for labour work,” he told. He went on to say that “some unidentified miscreants abducted us from poultry farm, and handed us over to other group of criminals.”
The militants blind folded us and fired shots at us. However, I managed to escape from the scene, the injured survivor told.
Tension gripped the area after the recent abduction and subsequent killing. Police said they were investigating the case and trying to catch the militants involved in the slayings.
