The incident, which occurred in Istanbul, was also recorded in a camera placed at the Velvet Indieground bar.
Tense scenes ensue as several men try to barricade themselves inside the store while crashes, shouts and screams can be heard outside.
The record store was taking part in a worldwide promotional event based around Radiohead’s latest album, A Moon Shaped Pool when the violence began.

“They were determined to kill us. we were beaten by more than 20 men with pipes in their hands, beer bottles were broken on our heads, I (sic) don’t even know how we made it out. i will share the details later guys. just hoping that noone will die,” Radiohead wrote.
Radiohead itself has since responded to the incident with a livestreamed message on Periscope, offering their support to the victims.
“Our hearts go out to those attacked tonight at Velvet IndieGround in Istanbul,” the band said.
“We hope that someday we will be able to look back on such acts of violent intolerance as things of the ancient past.
“For now, we can only offer our fans in Istanbul our love and support.”
