Minhal Sohail becomes first Pakistani female shooter to perform in Olympics

Sohail, the 22-year old from Karachi who has got a wildcard entry by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the games, launched her sporting career in 2012 and has won several tournaments across the world.

The shooter said that participating in the Olympic games was like a dream come true for her and she is optimistic on performing in the world sporting event.

She said that she has prepared well for Olympics and is aiming to clinch the gold medal for her country.

Sohail went on to say, “Sports enhance children’s self-belief and confidence which helps them achieve their life goals.”
