Man commits suicide after killing father, two sisters in Lahore

LAHORE: A man committed suicide after killing his father and two sisters Shafiqabad, Lahore, ARY News reported on Thursday.

According to the police, a young man identified as Owais opened fire and killed his father and two sisters and wounded one of his siblings over and then committed suicide.

After being informed about the incident, the police reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies and injured Farhan to Meo Hospital.

The cause behind the incident could not be ascertained.

Back in the month of July, last year, at least five members of a family, woman and children  were shot dead by unidentified armed men in a neighborhood of Sargodha district.

According to details, unidentified assailants stormed a house in  Chak 11 of Sargodha’s Bhalwal tehsil and opened fire indiscriminately at members of the family.

As a result, a man, his wife and their two sons and a daughter died of fatal bullet wounds on the spot.

After being informed of the incident, police and rescue teams had reached the crime scene immediately and shifted the deceased to a nearby medical facility.

The deceased couple was identified as Muhammad Tufail, 50, and his wife Majeeda Bibi 40, while the children killed in the attack aged between 16 and 20 years.
