The 1995 blockbuster Mortal Kombat is still remembered as one of the great action and fantasy movies – mainly because of demonic characters in the flick.
One such character and perhaps the most terrifying one was ‘Goro’ the four-armed half-human, half-dragon. And creating the demonic character was no piece of cake for the directors.
Do you know it took six puppeteers and four technicians to breathe life into Goro?
To bring the Goro to life a stunt-man, Tom Woodruff, was put into the suit and he controlled the lower portion. While the upper portion was controlled by puppeteers with a telemetry device, which was a hi-tech casing that allowed the puppet to mimic the movement of the puppeteers.
