The incident comes after the Inspector-General (IG) Sindh AD Khawaja yesterday rewarded a citizen for killing two gangsters who attempted to rob him in Nazimabad. He said that legal weapons were not to displayed in showcases and citizens should play a role in maintaining peace in the city.

Police investigations revealed that the two groups had a personal dispute, after which one group member was accused of being a robber and severely thrashed. They did not recover any weapon or stolen mobile phones from him.
Later, Police arrested both groups who were found to under the age of eighteen. Their parents and legal heirs were called in, and they were released after mediation.
