Mithun Chakraborty is one of the famed stars of Bollywood of the yesteryears and his celebrity status remains intact till date. His son Mahaakshay has made a debut in the B-Town, but couldn’t make a mark as yet.
Mahaakshay, who was last seen in 2015’s Ishqedarriyaan, had been in the news for his viral picture with TV star Kayden Cross. The picture went viral after he posted on his Instagram page.
Mahaakshay’s father Mithun Chakraborty, 67, is known for films like Disco Dancer, Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswathi and Swami Vivekananda. He started his career in 1976’s film Mrigaya. Since then, he has starred in more than 350 films in Hindi, Bengali, Bhojpuri and other languages. In the last few years, he has also featured in Salman Khan’s Kick (2014) and Akshay Kumar’s Entertainment (2014) and Boss (2013).
Mahaakshay featured as Mimoh in 2008’s film Jimmy, which
was also his debut film in Bollywood. He was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for Jimmy. In 2011, he featured in Haunted – 3D, which was the first Indian stereoscopic 3D horror film. He has also featured in films like Loot, co-starring Govinda and Suniel Shetty.–
