Following the increase the price of domestic and commercial cylinder hiked to Rs. 1200 and Rs 450 respectively.
Chairman of All Pakistan LPG Distributors Association Irfan Khokar declared the hike in prices as unfair. He said the government producers such as Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) PSO and PARCO did not increase the price of LPG.
After the increase the new price of LPG in Karachi is Rs 100 per kg with domestic cylinder at Rs 1150 while in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujraat, Faislabad, Sialkot, Hydrabad and Sheikhopura, LPG will be sold at Rs. 110 per kg with domestic cylinder at Rs 1270.
Meanwhile, the LPG price will stand in Mirpur, Multan, Bhawalpur, DG Khan, Peshawar, Kohat and Bannu at Rs 115 per kg and domestic cylinder Rs 1330. And in Rawalpindi and Islamabad the LPG will be sold at 130 per kg with domestic cylinder at Rs 1510.
The new price of LPG in Muree Muzafrabad and FATA is Rs 140 per kg and domestic cylinder is Rs 1630.
