Supermodel Diana Penty made her acting debut in commercially successful romantic comedy movie ‘Cocktail’ alongside Saif Ali Khan in 2012. Her performance was very much appreciated. It seemed as if she was going to get many more offers on the basis of her acclaimed performance, however nothing such could happen so far. Let’s hope that Diana makes a surprising entry for her fans soon.

Cute and bubbly actress Ameesha Patel rocked the Bollywood industry with her performances in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000) along Hritik Roshan and Gadar (2001) with Sunny Deol. She also won a number of awards and critical appraise for her hard-hitting performance in Gadar. Though the movies like Kya Yahi Pyar Hai and Ye Zindagi Ka Safar did not make good impression at the box-office. It has been long time since she last made huge waves with her film in B-town.

Indo-Canadian beauty diva Lisa Ray appeared on Indian film screen in ‘Kasoor’ (2001) alongside Aftab Shivdasani. Her intense intimate scenes in this film proclaimed her as a promising actress. The green-eyed beauty received accolades for her role in Canadian film ‘Water’ in 2005, but she could not re-create Kasoor-like magic. She is expected to cast spell upon her fans with Ram Gopal Varma’s biographical flick Veerappan soon.

Mahima Chaudhary is the actress who knows how to win scores

of hearts with her simple and innocent looks as she did in her ‘Pardes’ (1997) with Shahrukh Khan, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut category. After that, she could not create ripples in B-town with few low budget films like ‘Ye Tera Ghar Ye Mera Ghar’, ‘Seher’ and ‘Saya’. Her fans would surely be hoping to see her back on screen soon.

Sandali Sinha: You would have wished to stop her tears and you would be wishing to see her smile again and again in her role of Pia in ‘Tum Bin’. Sinha had all the ingredients to make it big in B-town, but she was not much seen later on screen for the reasons unknown to her fans.

Salman Khan’s protege, Bhumika Chawla carved a niche in B-town with her heart-touching movie ‘Tere Naam’ (2003). This movie, highest grosser of the year, handed her many awards for best debut performance.  Bhumika is making it big in Tollywood these days after getting married to Yoga guru Bharat Thakur.

Gracy Singh played the role of a cute country-side girl in ‘Lagaan’ to make place in the league of top Bollywood actresses. Her very next film ‘Armaan’ failed to make it big, but her fans are still looking towards Gracy to be seen as Gauri of Lagaan again.
