SAIRANG, Mizoram: A photo of a little boy that features him holding an injured chicken in one hand and the money in other went viral on the internet with over 10 million likes and 80,000 shares so far.
The boy reportedly belongs to Sairang, a census town of India’s Aizawl district in the Mizoram state.
The photo makes rounds on the internet after being published by a Facebook user, saying that the boy had accidentally run over his neighbour’s chicken while cycling. Later, he took the chicken to a nearby hospital with all the money he had in an attempt to save the chicken’s life.
A Facebook user, Sanga Says, shared the captioned photo, “This young boy from Sairang, Mizoram, accidentally ran over his neighbour’s chicken with his cycle. He took the chicken, ran to the nearby hospital and with all the money he had, asked for help. (I’m laughing and crying all at the same time).”
Gestures of the boy attracted millions who found it as extremely innocent, cute and heart melting at once.
A user, Fayis Vengadan, said, “Im really crying…so much love more happiness baby.”
Peema Rabgay Jr. said, ” So sad the real world won’t let him stay humble for long. Good people are always criticised, less appreciated and ignored, ultimately forcing them to be just like everyone else “CRUEL”.”
Muhammed Shafi H commented, “where did I found him….only want to hug this innocent sweetheart.”
While observing the boy’s expression, Joana Mae Viloria-Canelas suggested, I wish they won’t tell him that the chicken died. It will break his innocent heart.”
