The rainstorm hit Swat, Dir, Abbottabad, Mansehra and several other cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), with Peshawar bearing full brunt of it. Heavy rain coupled with strong winds left at least two people dead and nearly 30 wounded in Peshawar.
More than 400 feeders tripped due to rain in Peshawar resulting in power cut in most of the areas.
The rainwater inundated almost all thoroughfares in the provincial capital that led to massive traffic jam.
