Earlier, while addressing the provincial assembly, Lango announced that he would submit his resignation. He said that he has no moral right to stay in the assembly if he is involved in any corruption.
Lango, who is accused of massive corruption in a case involving former finance secretary Mushtaq Raisani, said that he had resigned from the advisory to allow transparent proceedings in the case. Raisani was arrested by NAB authorities who discovered a trove of Rs730 million from his home including currency, prize bonds and property documents.
Earlier, the under-arrest Lango arrived at the Balochistan Assembly in an armoured vehicle, to address the session where he announced his resignation.
Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri interfered after which Lango withdrew his resignation, saying that he respects the advice of his leader.
