The candidates of political parties and independents arriving with their supporters to submit their nomination papers.
The candidates contesting local government election had started filing their nomination papers from April 13.
According to the election schedule, objections against nomination papers are to be filed on April 19 and the scrutiny of nomination papers will take place from April 20-26.
The appeals against acceptance and rejection of nomination papers will be filed from April 26-28 which will be dealt from April 29 to May 4.
Contesting candidates can withdraw their nomination papers on May 5 and final list of contesting candidates will be displayed on May 6.
According to sources around 30,000 candidates will local bodies polls in the province.
The local bodies election would be held across the province on May 30.
