Kohli terms Amir as ‘world class bowler’

The statement was made by the Indian cricketer as he was speaking to media.

“I was happy to see that he (Amir) realized his mistake, rectified it and performed in New Zealand. He has always has been a world class bowler”, Kohli said.

Mohammad Amir returned to international cricket during Pakistan’s tour to New Zealand after completing his five-year ban over being involved in a spot fixing scandal back in 2010.

“Judging by his talent, he would have been the top two-three bowler if he hadn’t committed that mistake. He bowls good bouncers and yorkers”, the batsman said.

He added that Amir has a lot of skill. He added that the Pakistani pacer made a comeback at this level which requires lot of courage.

“I wish him the best of luck”, the Indian cricketer said.
