Earlier, Kevin Pietersen’s agent took to social media website to announce that the batsman has not backed out from the competition.
Just to be clear @KP24 has not pulled out of the PSL.

Rumors were circulating that the South African-born English batsman will not be a part of the competition.
PSL will be contested at United Arab Emirates in February next year and many international cricketers such as Chris Gayle, Darren Sammy, Thisara Parera, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Ajantha Mendis, Grant Elliott and James Franklin are expected to take part in the cricketing league.
