Katrina Kaif joins Twitter

Hold on just a moment. For those of you who are rejoicing, let it be known that Katrina is just on Twitter temporarily and that too only to promote L’Oreal and her visit as its brand ambassador to Cannes Film Festival. Kat’s entry into the micro-blogging site might just be a temporary one.

With only a handful of tweets (numbering 9) Katrina has amassed more than 5,000 followers in a short span of time. Here are a couple of tweets from her official account:-

Ranbir Kapoor had also

joined Twitter in January for 24 hours to promote a brand that he had endorsed. Kat and her beau are not regular social media junkies like other Bollywood stars, namely Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Sunny Leone, Preity Zinta, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar and Sonakshi Sinha. Katrina is hyping her visit to Cannes where she will be joined by fellow glamorous Bollywood heroines Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor.

Though fans might be disappointed at Kat’s temporary stay, who knows. maybe she might get the hang of the micro-blogging site and decide to permanently stay!
