Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan refuted the rumours of him replacing Ranveer Singh to play the leading role in the remake of Anil Kapoor’s film ‘Tezaab‘.

The announcement of ‘Tezaab‘ getting a remake was made last year. The report of Ranveer Singh getting replaced with Kartik Aaryan as he had opted out from the film made rounds.
The ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2‘ star downplayed the report of him cast instead of the ‘Band Baaja Baaraat‘ by tweeting “Not true”.
The original told the story of Mahesh “Munna” Deshmukh (Anil Kapoor), whose life gets ruined after getting imprisoned and separated from Mohini Dhanyekar (Madhuri Dixit), who suffers due to her cruel father Shyamlal Dhanyekar (Anupam Kher). He returns to settle old scores and save Mohini and settle old scores.

Madhuri Dixit, commenting on the film getting a remake, said she would be excited about the remake after watching it.
“I don’t know,” she said. I have to see the movie, then I’ll be excited. Well, I think if he is touching it then he has that confidence that he is doing something different.
“It’s an art form, and it’s open for interpretation. So if he has another form or another interpretation of ‘Tezaab‘, and has the confidence to make it then I am looking forward to seeing it.”
