Fire tenders timely reached to the school building and extinguished the blaze.
According to police sources, electric short circuit sparked fire in the building, which engulfed a portion of the school.
The fire brigade officials said that the two vehicles at first rescued the children trapped in the school building with the help of police and later extinguished the blaze.
