KARACHI: A series of revelations were made in connection with the murder of a missing businessman who was given sleeping pills and later burnt alive by the two persons which chopped off his dead body into pieces, ARY News reported on Saturday.

The appalling incident took place in New Karachi area of the metropolis.

According to details, the mutilated body was thrown away at a garbage corner by the culprits.

The murder was committed allegedly by two suspects, Ali Raza and his brother-in-law (sister’s husband) Atif, who were blackmailing Haq Nawaz through her sister Ayesha.

One of the accused persons confessed that he was involved in the murder of Haq Nawaz over wealth.

Ali Raza, in his confessional statement which was also obtained by ARY News, claimed that he had lost his temper when he saw her sister with Haq Nawaz which led him to murder the businessman for honour.

While detailing the terrorising details of the inhumane act, Raza said, “First Haq Nawaz was struck at the back of his head which rendered him unconsciousness. After that, we cut his body into pieces and threw it away by putting them in a plastic bag.”

It is pertinent to mention here that Karachi police have arrested the two culprits including Ali Raza and Ayesha, whereas, the third accused is still at large.

Police said that the search is continued to arrest the accused, Atif, who allegedly chopped off the deceased person’s body.
