Karachi: Anti-Narcotics Force recovers 42 kg of narcotics from a car

Karachi: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Sunday, recovered nearly 42 kg of narcotics (chars) from a car in the Al-Asif area of Karachi, ARY News reported. 

According to details, the ANF conducted a search operation at Al-Asif Karachi and recovered a huge amount of narcotics hidden in the secret compartment of a car.

An ANF spokesperson said that a man named Muhammad Ismail has been arrested and handed over to the police.

In another operation on June 11, the ANF arrested four drug smugglers, including three women from the Islamabad toll plaza.

According to an Anti-Narcotics Force spokesperson, they did an operation on intelligence reports near the Islamabad motorway, arrested four drug smugglers and confiscated a total of over 104 kg of narcotics. The recovered narcotics include over 86 kg of chars and over 16 kg of opium, he added.

On June 1, the AN seized 145kg of Ketamine drugs during action at the South Asia Port terminal in Karachi.

According to the ANF spokesperson the action was taken at the South Asia Port terminal in Karachi in which Ketamine drugs, weighing 145 kg concealed in a Hong Kong-bound container were recovered.

The container actually loaded with clothes was booked by a private company in Karachi. The ANF has arrested Naimatullah, a resident of Karachi who booked the container for Hong Kong.
