Video released of Junaid Jamshed, Salman Ahmed and Shahi’s ‘Chand Sitara’

It was a dream come true for most Pakistani fans, who hunger for quality music and recall fondly vintage songs. Two of Pakistan’s most popular music bands till date, Vital Signs and Junoon, got together to release their latest collaboration Chand Sitara, another national anthem.

Chand Sitara by getnewstvIt was a magical reunion of sorts, due to the simple fact that though Salman Ahmed had made a name for himself with the popular band Junoon, he had started out as a band mate of Vital Signs with Junaid Jamshed and Shehzad Hasan. The two iconic musicians, who have each blessed the Pakistani nation with countless hits and national songs, had promised Pakistanis a new national song.

Among those in attendance were popular personalities such as Hadiqa Kiani, Anoushey Ashraf, Shoaib Malik, Shahid Afridi, Umar Akmal and Zoe Viccaji. The event was held at the Royal Palm in Lahore.

The public was really ecstatic to see Junaid Jamshed performing his hits from the past, such as Hum Hain Pakistani Hum Toh Jeetengay and Dil Dil Pakistan, besides Chand Sitara.
