Notorious target killer Saulat Mirza imprisoned in Mach Jail had his execution deferred till April 23 and so far, the jail authorities have not received a fresh death warrant for his hanging.
Jail authorities claim to have written a letter to Karachi trial court for a renewed black warrant.
On the other hand, the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to probe Mirza’s allegations has sent its report to federal interior ministry.

Initial reports suggest that Mirza’s statement before JIT corroborated with his video statement.
The target killer had his execution deferred after a video statement in which he claimed that his target killing activities were patronized by some of the senior leaders of MQM.
Moreover, Mirza claimed that he killed then KESC MD Shahid Hamid on direct orders from Altaf Hussain.
