It’s a heartbreaking news from a heart-throbbing superstar who is liked in both the rival neighboring countries of the sub-continent alike.
Yes, all-illustrious Irrfan Khan has contracted a rare disease that has “shaken up” his life. Words fall short for people to describe their feelings on such a painful news.
Who knew that the Lunch Box star who is known for going for rare stories would someday find a rare disease.
Irrfan has not revealed exact nature of the disease and asked his fans, friends and followers to refrain from making any speculation as he would himself share it in a week or ten days as the investigation is underway to conclusively diagnose the disease.
However, he has requested to pray for him.
Just last year Irrfan’s movie Hindi Medium starring Pakistani actress Saba Qamar in the opposite role was released and made it big at the box office.
Irrfan was currently prepping up for shooting on Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming movie that will star Deepika Padukone in the lead role with him. About fortnight back, Bhardwaj had tweeted that Irrfan was down with jaundice, but Irrfan’s late tweet suggests that the disease is something more complicated and rare in its nature.
Lets act according to his request and refrain from making any speculation and only pray for his good health.
Irrfan wrote on his Twitter account:
“Sometimes you wake up with a jolt with life shaking you up. The last fifteen days, my life has been a suspense story. Little had I known that my search for rare stories would make me find a rare disease.
“I have never given up and have always fought for my choices and always will. My family and friends are with me and we are working it out the best way possible. In trying times, please don’t speculate as I will myself share with you my story within a week – ten days, when the further investigations come with a conclusive diagnosis. Till then, wish the best for me!”
God speed. 🙏🤗
