Indian troops martyr one Kashmiri youth in Pulwama

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district on Wednesday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops martyred the youth during a violent cordon and search operation at Branpathri Kahlil in Tral area of the district. 

An official of Indian police claimed that youth was a militant and was killed in an encounter with the troops.

Meanwhile, people took to the

streets near the bus stand in Tral town and staged demonstrations against the military operation and the killing of the youth. Indian police and troops fired pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes between the demonstrators and the forces’ personnel.

On the other hand, at least three students were killed and four others critically injured today when a vehicle fell into River Chenab in Ramban district in Jamu region.
