The spokesperson of the Foreign Office (FO) of Pakistan Qazi Khalilullah said in a weekly media briefing that India should provide evidences in support of its claims, instead of leveling baseless allegations on others.

Condemning recent border violations by the Indian forces, he said Pakistan fully complies with the ceasefire agreement between the two states and seeks peaceful ties with all regional countries.

He added that Indian government has suggested August 23 and 24 for talks between the National Security Advisers of the two countries, for which consultation is underway.

Speaking about Pakistani woman Chanda Bibi who is stranded in India, Mr Khalilullah said the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi is looking into the matter and in touch with the Indian authorities.

Moreover, he told that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will depart on a visit to Belarus on August 10 upon an invitation extended by the Belarus President.

The prime minister will be signing several important agreements during the visit there, added the FO spokesperson.
