ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Thursday appointed Inam Ghani as inspector-general of National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP), ARY News reported.
Inam Ghani, a grade-21 officer of PSP, was previously serving as IG of Pakistan Railways Police.
The notification was also issued by the Establishment Division, appointing Ghani with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, Kaleem Imam, who was earlier serving as IG motorways, has been appointed secretary Narcotics Control department.

Faisal Shakar has replaced Kaleem Imam as the new IG Railways Police.
