A divisional bench of IHC comprising of Justice Noor-ul-Haq Qureshi and Justice Shoukat Aziz Siddiqui heard the appeal today.
Advocate General Islamabad Abdul Rauf Siddiqui, in his arguments, said that no one has the right to take another’s life whatever the character he posseses. He added that it is not correct to say that there was a conversation held between Taseer and Qadri before the incident took place.
“The law must be implemented at any cost”, he said.
The court reserved its verdict over the appeal after listening the arguments.
