The verdict will be announced by a divisional bench comprising of IHC judges Justice Noor-ul-Haq N. Qureshi and Justice Shaukat Aziz.
An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) had awarded death sentence to Qadri over the killing of former Punjab Governor Salman Taseer. He had challenged his sentence in the high court.
Chief Justice IHC Justice Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman and Justice Mohammad Anwar had given stay order against Qadri’s death sentence.
Defence lawyers former Chief Justice Lahore High Court Khwaja Mohammad Sharif and Justice (Retd.) Mian Nazeer and the government lawyer Advocate General Mian Abdul Rauf had completed their arguments in the case during the last hearing.
The divisional bench had reserved its verdict over the appeal last month.
