The International Cricket Council (ICC) released fresh rankings today, showing Pakistan’s fall from the third to sixth position. Saeed Ajmal has been reprimanded and warned for a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct as he was found to have breached Article 2.1.4 of the Code, which relates to “using language or a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting during an International Match”.The charge related to an incident after the 105th over of Sri Lanka’s second innings when he used obscene language, which was picked up by the stump microphone and heard on television.
