Movie buffs from the 90s cannot forget the iconic comedy flick Home Alone that especially became the all kids’ favourite at that time. So are you Prepared to go on a festive trip down memory lane?

The child stars in the movie have all grown up and the surrounding of the location has changed to bits where the movie was shot.

The gorgeous house that was the residence of Kevin Mccallister and family is a real place. In fact, someone recently purchased it.

These incredible pictures were taken in 2011 when the house from Home Alone went up for sale.

According to Hooked on Houses, the red brick colonial Georgian house in Winnetka, Illinois, went on the market for $2.4 million via estate agents Coldwell Banker. It eventually sold for $1.58 million which was nearly $1 million less than than the asking price.

The stunning three story house covers 4,250 square feet and is very close to Lake Michigan.
