Hey, Shahrukh…What’s the Apple Connection!

Reports coming from across the border suggest the King of Bollywood has been approached by Apple to be its Indian brand ambassador.

Recent Bollywood media reports have hinted that Apple is planning to make SRK its brand ambassador in India with an aim to boost its market in the South Asian country.

The Apple CEO Tim Cook was recently invited to SKR’s dinner do along with other Bollywood celebs and bigwigs when he was in India last month on a maiden trip where he also met the Indian premier.

 

 

Apple has been in a planning phase to launch its latest version of iPhone in India later this year, and the company is expected to name Khan as the brand ambassador at a big launch event.

 

It is no surprise that with a number of star ambassadors such as Barcelona soccer player Neymar and NBA player Steph Curry, Shahrukh Khan has become the apple of the tech giant’s eye.
