He said that it is entirely Almighty’s will if a child dies and the government is not to be held responsible for it.
“The newspapers frequently publish stories about children deaths in Thar,” Chandio said, questioning what can the government do if a child passes away in a remote village.
“Life in Thar is not at all easy, however the infant mortality rate has lowered in the district and adjoining areas as compared to past year,” he contended.
