PESHAWAR: Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sardar Mehtab Abbasi has affirmed that terrorists are present in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) and the Government wishes least damaged to be caused to common tribal people during Pak-Army’s operation there – ARY News reports.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Sardar Mehtab Abbasi said that Government’s responsibility has been increased, after the starting on a military offensive in North Waziristan.
He said that efforts will be made for least damage to be caused to local tribes; however he admitted the presence of foreign terrorists in NWA.
Abbasi told that the Government seeks the operation to be completed as soon as possible.
Moreover, he said that the displaced persons as a result of military offensive, will be provide complete assistance by the Government.
