Punjab affected as gas pipeline blown in Sui

Following the incident, Punjab authorities are fearful of shortage of gas due to the blast.

According to Levies sources, armed miscreants blew the gas pipeline by planting explosives. As a consequence, gas supply to several cities of Punjab was suspended.

People of Punjab are already braving the brunt of gas shortage in extremely cold and foggy weather.

It

is pertinent to mention here that a few days ago gas supply system was terribly affected due to a terrorist attack on SNGPL pipeline, while CNG stations and industry in Punjab have already been deprived of gas for an indefinite period.

Keeping in view the entire situation, gas shortfall is expected to intensify further in the province.
