The fifth season of the program premiered on April 12, 2015 and season finale was premiered on June 14, 2015.
Twitterati were mostly furious on how the season ended in a cliffhanger, creating suspense for the upcoming season.They also lashed at the users and websites posting spoilers as to how the season ended.
The program circles around seven families fighting for the “Iron Throne” with each member with its own politics.
The show stars Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Kit Harington, Maisie Williams, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Sophia Turner in lead roles.
