KARACHI: The fourth death anniversary of celebrated comedian and stage artist Muhammad Sikandar Sanam is being observed with respect on Saturday.
Sikandar has adopted Sanam in his name as a pseudonym which in Urdu means beloved. He got popularity through his acts in the spoof films. He spread smile on faces of millions of fans. He has been loved by his fans not just in his home country but across the border as well.
The comedian lost his battle to liver cancer on 5th November 2012 after getting treatment at Agha Khan Hospital in Karachi.
Sanam started
He was given title of Comedy King by The Great Indian Laughter Challenge for his parody movie of Indian blockbuster Tere Naam.
He died at the age of 52 year. He was born on 21st September, 1960.
