PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Friday accused former rulers over neglecting and keeping his province in dark about multi-billion dollar China-Pakistan Corridor (CPEC) project.
Addressing a ceremony pertaining to KP government’s 100-day performance, Mahmood Khan highlighted the achievements of the provincial government in the span of 100 days and claimed that all the institutions are working in accordance with the constitution in the province.
He said that his government freed all the institutions from political influence and ensured rule of law in the province.
Mahmood Khan maintained that he reduced the expenditure of CM house from Rs5 million to Rs0.6 million monthly.
The chief minister said that people had given PTI mandate for change and added that they ascertain their priorities and first of all presented themselves for accountability.
He said that they devised development strategy and proposed some amendments in TDP act. The KP CM resolved to restore the devastated infrastructure of the province. Mahmood said that they took measures for the revival of tourism and industry in the province during the short span of 100 days.
