Former PTI MPAs strongly condemn May 9 violence

MULTAN: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPAs from Multan have strongly condemned the May 9 violence that was triggered after the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan in Al-Qadir Trust case, ARY News reported on Thursday.

As many as nine prominent PTI MPAs participated in a press conference including Zaheeruddin Ali Zai, Muhammad Ashraf Khan Rind, and Qaiser Magsi from Multan, meanwhile, Awais Dogar, Abdul Hai Dasti, Niaz Hussain Gishkori, and Alamdar Qureshi also presented from Muzaffargarh. The conference also saw the participation of Malik Mujtaba Mehta from Khanewal and Sajjad Cheena from DG Khan.

In a press conference PTI leaders strongly condemned and expressed disapproval of the violent incidents that took place on May 9.

Addressing the media, Muhammad Ashraf Rind emphasized that the state should comes first, followed by politics. If there is a state, then there is politics, he added.

Qaiser Magsi, a prominent PTI leader, reiterated that their representation extended far beyond a mere count of individuals, emphasizing their role as representatives of the entire nation.

He conveyed a profound sentiment regarding the events that unfolded on May 9, unequivocally labeling it as the most devastating event in the history of Pakistan.

Qaiser Magsi expressed his strong condemnation of the attack on property, GHQ, and Corps Commander House and termed the incident ‘worst’ in the history of Pakistan.

Qaiser Magsi reaffirmed his support for Pakistan and the Pakistan Army, stating that they stood united against the anti-national elements operating in Pakistan.
